These
are places I remember visiting in the U.K...most of
which are in Liverpool.
On
the cover of Ringo's album "Sentimental Journey"
was a picture of a pub in Liverpool. This is a photo
of that pub, the Empress Pub and was taken in 1993.
One
of my favorite Beatles songs is "Penny Lane."
It was a great thrill to actual see the places mentioned
in this song.
The
top photo is approaching the roundabout on Penny Lane.
The one on the bottom is the Shelter in the Middle
of the Roundabout. These photos were taken in 1993.
The

This
is the Liverpool skyline from the River Mersey as
seen from the ferry that crosses the Mersey. This
photo was taken in 1993.
In
1994 the tour I was on followed the same route the
Beatles traveled when they filmed Magical Mystery
Tour. This is a map of the route we took.
