Vectors: Node Types
Tutorial by Doro Sensen: http://www.tut.pspug.org/tutbasic/vctrnodetypes_v7.htm.

Our assignment for this week is:

Using what we've learned from this lesson; Create 2 or 3 new images and include them on your website along with the original created in class.

Here are the images I created following the tutorial:

This is the first new image I created. I started with an elipse and created the basic shape. To create the indent on the top of the pumpkin, I used the Ctrl key while pulling up on the handles of the top node. For the stem, I started with a rounded rectangle. For the mouth, I started with moon 2 preset shape. I rotated the moon so it looke like a U. After adjusting the size and width, I converted the layer to a raster layer. I then used the selection tool to cut the top portion of the moon to get the mouth you see below.

This is the second new image I created. For the paint palette, I started with an elipse. I added one node so I could get more of a rounded area in the indented part. After I got the shape I wanted, I added the paint brushes. I got the paint brushes from arttoday.com. After positioning the brushes, I added an elipse and cutout the center to make the hole. For the paint, I started with an elipse for each one then, using node edit, I made each a different shape.
