Our assignment for this week is:

In the download provided with this assignment, you will find two round antique frames, saved in PSP format. Your assignment this week: using your tubed bubble from the elf image, we're going to make one family heirloom, and one wedding presentation. Try and find some antique photos or images for the heirloom - they can either be pertaining to your own family, or any images that you like that represent years gone by. For the wedding assignment ... again, the choice is yours ..it can be either one that has personal ties to you, or it could be wedding image that you really, really like :o)

You might have to deform your bubble to make it fit the frame .. once you have it on the frame as a new layer, use your Deformation Tool to deform it to the shape of the frame. Move the bubble layer underneath the frame layer to hide any little pesky misfit pixels. Thereafter, add your family heirloom/wedding images on a new layer between the frame and the bubble layers.

These are the images I made with the gold antique frame. The first photo is my grandparents (on my mom's side) wedding photo. The middle photo is my grandmother's (the grandmother in the wedding photo) father. And the photo on the right is my other grandmother (on my dad's side) as a child.

These are the images I made with the silver flower frame. The photo on the left is my family when I was about 10 years old (I'm the girl on the right). In the family photo on the right I'm the infant in my mother's arms. I won't say when these photos were taken. <g>

I really had fun with this week's assignment. Below right is the globe I made in class. I found a tutorial (at http://prestigiousdames.com/char/p_262_another_tom.html) to make a really cool turkey so, I put him in a globe. He's in the globe on the right. For both of these I made the first snow layer visible. I can't wait to animate these.

Thanks Rosebear!
